xfce-mcs-manager won't start if I'm not root

Hello Olivier,

Checkinstall is the same as make install except that it creates a package 
before installing. In my case, it creates a slackware package that I can 
remove cleanly.

I will reinstall it once again since it seems that I don't have the good 
package install...

I'll be back with some news...
