fullscreen with xfce4

Hello,

I have a little problem with xfce4 (cvs-20030225) and xawdecode, a TV 
application.

  The fullscreen tv window size is the same as the normal tv window 
size, with big black borders.

This does not happen with xfce-3.8.18 and  kde-3.1.

Changing  the window manager to sawfish for example does not help.

System
RedHat 8.0 with updates etc., WnTV-PCI

This is xawdecode 1.6.8-cvs running on Linux/i686 (2.4.18-24.8.0).
