Hello list,
I know this is fairly offtopic and I apologize to everybody who feels
offendend by this posting but since we not only got magnificant XFce
developers on this list but also developers who are quite fimilar with the
current GTK developement I'ld like to ask if they have a clue about my
problem:
Since about three days I'm trying to install Lunar Linux again (I had to
wipe it once it was installed because I couldn't effort to lose the space.
Now I bought a new disk and got enough space) but it won't let me install
GTK+-2. The only error message I get is:
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -DG_LOG_DOMAIN=\"Gdk\"
-DGDK_COMPILATION -I../.. -I../../gdk -I../../gdk -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED

I've pango 1.2.1, glib 2.2.1 and atk 1.2.0 .. Xft2 version is the latest
available via the lunar package system, but it won't work. I tried
downgrading the packages (like pango 1.2.0 and gtk 2.2.0 or pango 1.2.1 and
gtk 2.2.0 etc. ) but it went out the same way described above.
Now does anybody have a clue about what to do to fix this problem? Use a
pango developement version f.e.? Or install Xft manually?
I'ld appreciate any ideas that may help. Thank you.
Bye,
Moritz
