Pressing button 2 on any folder (like the local root) will print out the
full path to the diagnostics window, from which you can cut an paste
into the clipboard. Yes, I know it is one more click, but not only can
you get the current location, but the absolute path of anything
displayed by xffm (and in 4.1 you can also get mimetype and the
freedesktop mimetype description)
