It looks like a bug. What is your version of smbclient (I'm using 2.2.5)
Please take a look at the diagnostics window when you open the workgroup
in question. You should see some lines like:
Domain=[PORTALES] OS=[Windows NT 4.0] Server=[NT LAN Manager 4.0]
Sharename Type Comment
--------- ---- -------
Error returning browse list: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
Server Comment
--------- -------
LOKI
SAGITARIO Samba Server
Workgroup Master
--------- -------
PORTALES LOKI
Does IS~NTSRV1801M appear or NTSRV1801M?
Anyway, a quick way around could be to use the "goto" function, either
from the main menu or the toolbar. When the input box pops up, use
//NTSRV1801M as the location. This will put the ws in the tree and you
might be able to open it.
