Ok, I need a bit more info then. Does it happen every time with
evolution? Does it only happen with specific apps or randomly? 

oh, and I'm just thinking, you probably have a directory called
evolution in your home dir. Can it be related to that? (That's still a
bug, but then I know where to look to fix it).
