helping out

I have hacked on XFCE for a little while and would like to help out.  I have
been doing C for about a year and have been using XFCE it seems like
forever.  Is there anything in XFCE4 that I could help out with?  I have
compiled XFCE4 and been running it for a few days.

One question though, the first time I ran XFCE4, all the shortcuts were
empty and the icons were the default.  Is that right ?
