xfwm4 query

Hi,

Is it possible to start an application on a particular desktop under
xfwm4? Ideally, I'd like to write something like this in my .xinitrc :

#!/bin/sh

xfwm &
xfwm -e 'sylpheed' --desktop=4 &
xfwm -e 'gaim' --desktop=all &
exec xfce
