Hi,

i don't really know if i must send this mail here or not ...
sorry if not .

I try to compile xfce4
I have downloaded all cvs folder / files
Compiled first gtk-xfce-engine-2
and then libxfcegui4
i am know tying to compile xfce4
but when i do configure or autogen.sh it tells :

checking for glib-2.0 >= 2.0.0 gtk+-2.0 >= 2.0.0 pango >= 1.0.0
gmodule-2.0 libxml-2.0 libxfcegui4-1.0 >= 0.0.7... Package
libxfcegui4-1.0 was not found in the
pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libxfcegui4-1.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libxfcegui4-1.0' found

configure: error: Library requirements (glib-2.0 >= 2.0.0 gtk+-2.0 >=
2.0.0 pango >= 1.0.0 gmodule-2.0 libxml-2.0 libxfcegui4-1.0 >= 0.0.7)
not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if
your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

what should i do ?
I dont know how to update tje PKG_CONFIG_PATH and the
/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig/libxfcegui4-1.0.pc
is there.

I am running a RedHat 8.0 with xfce3.8.18

Thanks
