This is not a problem with how the plugin is implemented, but rather
with the dialog. BTW, the menu is saved and you get it back if you
change the plugin at a later time (I think ...). The solution is of
course to add a new item for the desktop switcher.
I have been thinking of an alternative dialog to handle all panel data,
including adding and removing items. I send a glade mockup to the list
once. It basically would be a listview on the left with all panel
controls and a dialog area on the right. I haven't decided yet, nor done
any coding.
