You mean xembed from the freedestop.org ?
If so, yes definitely, we must adopt standards (as long as they aren't
braindead ;-) )
As a side note, the problem I had last night with xfwm4 is actually
with... gtk+-2.0
I've submitted a patch against gtk+-2.0 that fixes the problem, dunno if
they will include it. W/out this patch, we just cannot use xsettings :-(
