It has always worked well for me. But I am at IETF going in and out
of suspend as I move from session to session. ANd it has been 12
days (really not that long) since the last reboot.<br>
<br>
I have this work around, in that if I run from battery and wait the
time that is set for battery to dim the screen, if then I move the
mouse, it goes to full brightness.<br>

password to enable backlight, and did and I got my nice bright backlight.
I cannot find anything for this in settings.
