<font face="Georgia">In Settings, check the applet "Removable Drives
and Media."</font> One option is to "Mount removable drives when
hot-plugged." I get an icon on the desktop whenever a thumb drive is
plugged in. You can also have it open the file browser when
hot-plugged.<br>
