Is Brave kicking you out too?

Xfce 4.14
brave-browser-1.13.82-1.x86_64

When I open Brave Browser and go to

       http://squall.sfsu.edu/gif/jetstream_pac_init_00.gif
(other pages too)

five seconds later, I get kicked all the way out of Xfce and back to my 
lightdm logon dialog.
