Hello,
Alex,
I set up an environment to test and refactored the code. Now it supports
utf8.
The patch is posted on the bugzilla portal as you requested.
You may have a look. It's against latest HEAD
eec0c9b2ca7227b65184e2840f2c3e99aa8678b3.
I'm posting patch here as well.
Any feedback is welcomed.
