xfce icon question

Hello,

I'm a long time user of XFCE. So far it's been perfect - stable, solid,
robust just as I demand.
It's one thing that I miss and I can't seem to find searching for it on the
internet.

When I am at the desktop view seeing all my icons (I have many documents
and folders) I ask how can I search for icons by name with a keystroke. For
example If I continuously press 's' I would like to be shown sequentially
icons starting with 's' (case insensitive would be a good option).

Any ideas what to check / edit / fix to have this?
What I do now is to open Thunar, go to Desktop and press 's' to find what
I'm looking for but it would have been easier and more convenient to have
this at the desktop view with the icons just pressing the appropriate
letter.
