Checking session restore by XFCE 4.14

Hello,

I logged from a few desktop sessions out after additional programs
were started for another test on my openSUSE Tumbleweed system.
I observed then that my desktop was restored as expected in the way
I left it before.

Unfortunately, I observed also that a desktop session was only
partly restored after I switched the computer on.
Thus I wonder again about the status for the desired system management
by the software component “xfce4-session 4.14.0-151.2”.
How do you think about to clarify a bug report like “Shutting down
or logging off improperly closes everything” any further?

How much will it help to configure a login profile where
the environment variable “XFSM_VERBOSE” is defined?

How should remaining open issues be fixed in related areas?
