xfce4-terminal acting strangely

Since a recent upgrade, I found xfce4-terminal acting strangely:

- All the entries in the menu bar scrunched together
- No scrollbar
- In the dialogue windows opened for Preferences, About etc the buttons and check boxes have no border
 
Any idea ?

Running xfce4-terminal 0.8.7.2 under PCLinuxOS. 
Appearance Theme is Xfce-redmondxp, and WindowManager Theme RedmontXP
