Open Recent missing entries

Fedora 29
Xfce 4.13

$ rpm -qa leafpad
leafpad-0.8.18.1-22.fc29.x86_64

I do like the feature "open recent" when I open leafpad
and other programs.

Problem: it won't remember certain names:

    Password.txt
    Network.txt
    WebPage.txt
    Sausage.txt

What the heck?
