(How) may I customise the font/color/size/placement of the various notifications bubbles

Hi Sébastien,
A notification theme with larger fonts such as ZOMG-PONIES isn't enough to
be readable by her?
Other than that, according to xfce4-notifyd's maintainer, there is a
(theoretical) feature described in the notification spec which is the
"category" of a notification, but he's not aware of any implementation that
offers this feature.
So please, open a RFE bug.
