How can I find the cause of a global keybinding?

Hi Everyone,

can anyone tell me how to prevent XFCE from setting Ctrl+f to a no-op
every now and again?  This really interferes with my usage of vim emacs
and the shell.

As a workaround, I can temporarily bind Ctrl+f to a dummy command
(usually /bin/true) and immediately remove the binding.  At seemingly
random time intervals, this is reset.
