Thunar has lost all plugins

I would not reinstall a package, I would restore the complete Linux
install from a backup ;). However, you likely need to restore the
settings in the user's home.

Did you run thunar in a terminal? Apart from that, are there any thunar
related messages in ~/.xsession-errors?
