For critical situations I've taken to occasionally running XFE, but I'm
too used to Thunar at this point to just give up on it.
I'm looking into whether the behavior is present in my other session,
which is running 4.10. Does anyone know the best way to reproduce it?
The only consistency I seem to notice is using multiple tabs. It's
happened whether it was same volume or separate one, USB or other, and
it hasn't happened all the time. Next time it does happen I will try to
repeat the exact same copy and see if it crashes again.
I used to think it was just something I had configured wrong. Now I'm
glad to know that it's not just me, but problems don't fix themselves
and it's not fair to demand of volunteers if we ourselves are in anyway
capable (many of us are).
:)
