Hi All,
Figured this out. This was a bad /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf file. As it
transpires,
the update from FC24 to FC25 also updated the syntax of lightdm.conf.
The fix is to use lightdm.conf.rpmnew as your lightdm.conf.
