Window tweak settings

When I login from either logout or reboot, the centering of windows fails.
I had to open the Settings and go to Window Manager Tweaks > Placement 
and slide the slider to the left then all the way to the right again and 
Centering works.
I am running on Arch with the latest upgrade to Xfce 4.12.
Any ideas?

I would have posted this to the forum but I get referer or something 
like that.
