Unable to Logout

Hi list,

I'm using Xfce 4.10 on Debian Jessie/testing. It seems that I'm unable
to use any of the logout, shutdown, or restart commands.

When I select "Log Out..." from the menu, a dialog pops up with options
for Logout, Shutdown, Reboot (etc), and a checkbox to save the session
(which I leave unchecked). When I select an option, the dialog box
disappears, but the nothing happens.

The `xfce4-session-logout` shows the dialog box, but when I select an
option, nothing happens. If I supply the command with the "--logout"
argument, it replies, with a dialog box, "Session manager must be in
idle state when requesting a shutdown".

Some relevant information is below.

Thank you!
