Greetings.

Just finished installing Fedora 22 on a new computer, and the OS came
with Xfce 4.12. I am having a problem getting gnome services running on
startup.

The problem appears when I try to run gnome-screensaver:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
[jarmo at localhost ~]$ gnome-screensaver

** (gnome-screensaver:8631): WARNING **: Couldn't get presence status:
The name org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service
files
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

>From previous experience I think (?) this implies that gnome services
are not running. However, in the Advanced tab of "Session and startup" I
have set "Launch GNOME services on startup", and I also have
gnome-session installed:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
[jarmo at localhost ~]$ dnf list installed 'gnome*'

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong.
