This, together with the realease of libxfce4ui-2 = 4.12, will allow us update packages of Parole and Pragha, that now use gstreamer 1.0 and gtk3.

Thanks for working on that. If you just want a simple button with
a popup containing a slider maybe you can have a look at
XfceVolumeButton as a starting point, it is fairly abstract and
doesn't depend on the underlying gstreamer stuff.
