There's an Arch PKGBUILD for menulibre version 2.0.4
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/me/menulibre/PKGBUILD it comes with a
hard dependency to gnome-menus.

I'm using another version.

[rocketmouse at archlinux ~]$ pacman -Q menulibre
menulibre 13.04.17-1

Likely upstream changed the code a lot.
