Nevertheless it won't protect us against on a knife edge maintenance. I
was aware about the critical less disk space and since I make backups, I
gambled and go to far. A professional admin behaving that idiotic as I
did should get the axe ;).

Perhaps there is a Xfce bug, but I would keep in mind that equally
probable it's a user (admin) error done by the OP, instead of a Xfce
bug.
