Few things about the notifyd plugin

Hello there,


I'm using xfce4-notifyd-0.2.4 on top of my Xfce 4.10 (everything
compiled from the sources, on a CentOS6 64-bit), I would like to report
an issue:

- every time a sound is played (aplay..), I get a notification showing
  the sound volume level. This is particularly disturbing :-).

and a feature request:

- could it be possible to have a toggle switch in the
  config dialog to enable/disable notifications without having to
  uninstall/install notifyd or kill the running process?
