fortunately my native language is German too.
For commands it's possible to use
$ LANG=C command
then the output temporarily is in English.

That's no error, they're just debugging messages. They come from xbrlapi
which is trying to connect to a braille display but you have none so it
can't. Nothing to worry about." -

I guess the best thing is to test, what happens if you start a Xfce
session for a new user.
