Making XFCE as default on Ubuntu

Just installed Ubuntu ( I am a Slackware guy
usually) and then did:
apt-get install xfce4
The machine went through a lot of mumbo jumbo but
no error messages. Now I want to set xfce to be
my default window manager.

How do I do that?
