XFCE power manager, LID close options have no effect

Hello everyone, I have $subj behaviour. When I connect external monitor
&& kb && mouse, I want to close notebook's LID, but when I do it:
notebook goes into sleep. In power manager I selected "do nothing"
option while notebook works AC. Any suggestions?
