What I mean is that I don't use Thunar or other applications bundled with
Xfce. On my server/workstation I keep 10 virtual desktops open; on my
notebook only 4. But, I use the window manager, too. I prefer command line
tools for almost all my work.
I've no idea if multiple resolutions can be accommodated in different
desktops. Since I use only the native 1440x900 on my LCD monitors I've no
reason to try others. I also have my LCD project set to that resolution so
it works with my notebook.
