Access to aux video

IIRC, even when I rebooted the laptop with the TV attached, it did not
show up in the display devices list.

However, when I tried <fn><f4> (which is marked as the key for display
changes), it switched off the laptop screen and nothing else came on.
I could not recover the screen, so I had to reboot again.

I haven't had a chance to try it since with either a normal display or
a TV, but will post when I do and what I find.
