Problem switching between external and internal monitor

If this is what pops up when I press fn+f7, I already use it. However, 
as I've written, the screen is blank when I take my laptop out of the 
docking station and open the lid or the internal mouse doesn't work. In 
either case, it is very difficult to push buttons.
