rm -rf ~/.cache/sessions/*,

... no luck

xfwm4 --replace

... no luck

This isn't the same as the routine 'sessions' bug, that happens so often
here that I've stopped even thinking about it. Nope, everything is fine
except that I have no border around my windows. In my pre-update copy of
LMDE, all my windows have a very thin blue border around them. Is there
perhaps some config file that I might copy over? I noticed that all my
default fonts changed too, so maybe some config file did get
overwritten. It might be something that Mint has done rather than
something I can blame on Xfce itself.

Oh, as for the sessions bug, given what a PITA that is, you'd think that
the devs would take the time to fix that even if just to stop the
endless stream of reports about it. Sorta the same way that answering
the phone is better than listening to it ring on and on.

Thanks guys.
