Notifications do not work in Xfce-4.10

  Hello!
  I'm confused about notifications in Xfce. After some of recent
upgrades, they just stopped displaying.
  I use Gentoo GNU/Linux with Xfce-4.10 and xfce4-notifyd-0.2.2
installed, but I cannot understand how to start this daemon working.

  Any ideas how to handle this? Or maybe some of you know what has
changed in Xfce since 4.8, for example (in this context)?
