Thanks Kevin, that worked perfectly to update to Midori 0.4.4. I was 
trying to get 0.4.6 but perhaps this will work. I was interested in the 
scheme for copying a video clip outlined by Kenneth Marken:

    What you can do is let the flash video cache, then head for
    /proc/"midori pid"/fd/

    There enter

    ls -l | grep tmp

    the -l is because the files in fd are symlinks.

    What flash does is write a file to /tmp that is then deletes (older
    versions do not do this, so one could dig it out of the tmp dir by
    looking for files starting with Flash) while still being in use by
    the plugin running as part of the midori process.

    Then copy the symlink to a fitting location and end the filename
    with .flv. Presto, a flash video.
