Really? *really*? From a graphical environment? Not everyone uses a
console terminal for everything.

commands to remote syslog servers over an encrypted connection. ***

Why even point this out... its not what they asked. The peep is probably
annoyed that they can't just edit the file in the first place and you'd
have them use a command line?
