Orage alarm did not occur

Thanks, that does indeed work well.  I also went to
Orage preferences and in the Display Settings tab, 
checked "Hide" under Calendar Start to prevent the
calendar window from always displaying after login.
(For the benefit of anyone coming across this thread
in the future.)
