There's no such thing as "xfce4-goodies", but rather a collection of
plugins totally not synchronised with anything. Some plugins have been
updated to use newer APIs, but there are still a lot waiting for some
love, ie, a bit unmaintained and depending on old api & having pending
patches in bugzilla. Volunteers welcome !

Hint: maintaining a panel plugin along with fixing long-opened bugs is
an easy task, and can be a good start for whoever wants to contribute
to xfce.
