To be complete: if you click the device in the thunar sidepane mounting 
works? It is only about thunar-volman not doing its work (automount and 
open a thunar window).

The last add action shows a DEVPATH (correct the one below), also 
attach the output of

udevadm info 
--path=/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb2/2-1/2-1:1.0/host6/target6:0:0/6:0:0:0/block/sdc

My first idea is that a device is added (a block device with a disk), 
but udev is not reporting the disk contains a filesystem. Or at least, 
no ID_FS_USAGE is reported.
