Do not set background

Hello.

Is it possible to set no background in XFce? I want that the current
background (set for instance by the login manager) be kept when XFce
starts. Is that possible? If so, how?

The Desktop Settings dialog has a tab for the background, with the
options Image (single image, image list, or none) and colors (solid
color, horizontal gradient, vertical gradient, or transparent). None of
these options seems to keep the background already set when the wm
starts.
