Can I disable glide pad laptop mouse?

Hi All,

I have a customer on FC14 and Xfce 4.6.1 and a Toshiba
laptop.  He uses an external mouse because he hates
the built in slide pad.  (I don't care for slide pads either.)

Problem, he is always resting his wrist on the slide pad,
selecting things, and messing up his mouse pointed.

He asked me if there is a way to disable the slide pad.
Anyone know how to do this?  Does Xfce have an
option for this?
