future of mousepad/xfprint

Is there any part of Xfce in 4.8 depending on xfprint anymore on a
linux distribution? I guess the only app that makes use of it is
mousepad.

As mousepad seems almost dead and there are tons of good lightweight
alternatives(leafpad,medit,...) I'm in the mood of dropping mousepad
and xfprint from our repos unless you tell me a mousepad rewrite is
right on the corner.

What do you other package maitainers think about this?
