What is xfce4-vala?

Xfce4 Vala provides bindings for the Xfce framework.

Vala is a new programming language that aims to bring modern programming
language features to GNOME developers without imposing any additional
runtime requirements and without using a different ABI compared to
applications and libraries written in C.

Release notes for 4.8.0
=======================

This release is an update against the Xfce 4.8 version. Support for Xfce
4.6 libraries have been removed.

An example to build an Xfce Panel Plugin is included in the tarball.
