How to open remote folders on windows client in thunar

Hi,

I'm trying to access a remote folder on a windows client.

When I want to open it via network from the sidebar, thunar asks me for 
an application to open the remote folder with. Which application shall I 
choose, why doesn't thunar open the folder by itself?

When I enter the address manually in the location bar, thunar shows the 
contents of the remote folder without any further questions.
