Hibernate doesnt saves the application status

This sounds like your computer failed to hibernate or you fail to resume 
from it. You have to specify swap partition to resume from. What's your 
boot manager? (I use initrd to tell kernel to resume from swap. Kernel 
won't have a problem if swap does not have a resume image at all. It will 
simply keep booting normally).
